The world wasn't exactly set up for meeting local love interests at a bar, community event, or even the grocery store. When everyone was staying at least six feet apart, how were you supposed to find "the one?" Online, of course.

 

After we matched, neither of us was willing to risk our health, or our families' health, for a casual first date. Besides, how were we supposed to know someone was our soulmate based on a few survey questions and a 99% OKCupid match? So instead, we spent the next four months getting to know each other through texts, phone calls, and video chats. Somewhere along the way, we both realized this person was simply too special not to take a chance on.

 

In January 2021, we finally had our first date. You guessed it, six feet apart. It was freezing, the park was covered in snow, and we clung to hot coffees instead of each other. Even with all that distance, there was no denying the chemistry. So we kept dating... six feet apart.

 

By Valentine's Day, we couldn't wait any longer. Back at the park, we shared our very first kiss. People say you just know when you've found your person, and in that moment, it felt absolutely true. Well... maybe it was five months of anticipation and one perfect smooch, but either way, we were hooked.

 

From that moment on, we became inseparable. We've been teammates, best friends, and each other's favorite travel companion ever since. We've made memories around the world together, but we've learned that our favorite place isn't a destination at all, it's wherever we're together. Who knew that staying six feet apart would eventually lead us here? We can't wait to celebrate our journey with all of you in Puerto Vallarta.
